India's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market grew 6 per cent in the January-March quarter over last year led by double-digit price growth, according to Nielsen IQ's report. The digital innovation in Kirana also played significant role in the overall growth as in order to prosper in post-pandemic times, the sector experimented with new business models and employed digital innovation technologies to uncover new sources of revenue. The industry is also paying attention on understanding the shift in consumer behaviour during Pandemic and innovating digital platforms to fit the bill.
